Following surgery for tennis elbow, Bart Thomas could no longer carve stone or create sculptures using hammered copper plate. In search of new ways to express his artistic vision, Bart discovered alternative techniques that allowed him to continue his creative journey. In 2020, he embarked on a new phase in his artistic career, constructing metal wire frames and coating them with a special paste. During this period, Bart primarily worked with epoxy paste to bring his ideas to life.
The mixed media abstract sculptures of artist Bart Thomas are like visual poetry through the use of harmonious and pure forms.
